Yeah. I just started to use Linux. I really love it. Open Source is an amazing ideology... the shear amount of programs avalible is amazing.
The shear power of the OS is great too. BASH is amazing. I have done things in the Terminal I have never even dreamed possible, and makes using a computer so, so much more simpler. And, as you can see from the screen shot, Ubuntu is amazingly customizable. Although I didn't make the theme, I was responsible for doing transparency on the desktop icons. Looks great, I love it. I use to have a bad ass font that worked with it, but it couldn't support special symbols, and it looked... strange with punctuation marks. Anyways, there is my rant on Linux. I love it, never going back to Windows. Got a new monitor too. 19" widescreen. 1440x900. Very Nice. |
